  • Good news for Bollinger fans. There's an alternative that save you lots of pounds but tastes just as good and it comes from one of Champagne's oldest houses. Indeed Francois Moutard and his family have been making fizz since 1642, so they know what they're doing.
  • Rich, complex, with that classic biscuity edge to it, it's no surprise this has won more awards than many other Champagnes twice its price.
  • Perfect 'spoil yourself' treat for when you feel like spending a little bit more on your bubbles.

  • The search for a decent bottle of Chablis at a price that won't have the bank manager running screaming from the room has come to an end at last. And it's pretty damn good even though we say it ourselves.
  • It ticks all the boxes. Great lemon and apple flavours. Tick. Lovely mineral quality. Tick. Long finish with great raciness. Tick.
  • It's a classic with most fish dishes, but it has enough body and strength to stand up to a little bit of chicken tandoori if you've a taste for it.

  • This is the second vintage Bill and Claudia Small have crafted exclusively for Angels and it's an absolute cracker.
  • We asked them one simple thing. Make us the best Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough and we reckon they came pretty close - at least for the price you pay, and what's more 94% of people who've bought it agree.
  • It is classic New World SB. Delicious, ripe, grassy fruit, all gooseberry and kiwi, with an edge of lime, and is packed with enough zing to keep your mouth tingling for hours on end.

  • The whole vineyard is dedicated exclusively to the production of this first class, single-vineyard Pinot Noir, which has lashings of ripe, rich red cherry fruit, with an earthy kick of smokey licorice.
  • The first ever vintage of this wine was awarded an astonishing 92 points by Robert Parker - which for a new kid on the block is nothing short of stellar.
  • This is a cracking match for a delicious piece of duck breast, preferably with a big plate of game chips lying alongside it.

  • This is quite possibly the tastiest Rioja you'll ever find. Why? Because Carlos is in the unique position of being able to buy the best grapes the region has to offer.
  • What you probably don't know is, to make Rioja Reserva only the very last squeeze of juice is used. The result is 100% flavour.
  • Rich, smooth and creamy. Drinking this is like putting on a pair of silk knickers. You could go cheaper, but it wouldn't be quite so lovely!

  • This is a half sized bottle of wonderfully sticky dessert wine. Made using the same technique and grapes as the famous (and very expensive!) Sauternes
  • By buying the Aussie version without the famous name attached means you get lots more bang for your buck!
  • Simply crying out to be paired with your puddings or cheese boards, impress dinner guests with this sweet treat

  • Lovingly aged for 3 years in stainless steel vats, this is a versatile fruity Port
  • Red fruits shine through, think of cherries, raspberries and redcurrant with a little plum too
  • Oscar has some great food pairing ideas for this delicious ruby Port. Try it with dates & bacon as a canape, or with an indulgent chocolate mousse for dessert

  • If you've not tried a lightly sparkling Moscato before, then you cannot start with a better example than this. Magnificent and only 7% because not all the sugar is converted to alcohol.
  • Worry not about the sweetness however. Whilst it does taste sweet in the mouth, it has a wonderful zippy, racy zing to it, that offsets the sugar. It's a little bit like drinking liquid lemon sorbet and just as bloomin' refreshing when served nice and chilled.
  • Winemaker Guido recommends it with cake of all kinds. We agree!!!
