My first real disappointment from NW. As a Rioja lover I was looking forward to his. Perhaps we got a duff bottle, but this cherry/dried-cranberry red failed to live up to the promising aromas of black pepper, cloves, mace and hot stone. In the mouth it was thin, very light, almost watery. Allowing it to breathe brought out a hefty whack of acid in the middle that overpowered the fruit. I hope our bottle was just faulty, because I would not buy this again.
