Excellent wine and the best Chilean SB I have tried. Bought in the Xmas sale but I wouldn't pay the full price for it as its not that much better than others on sale here for a lot less.

Pretty average taste compared to other sauvignon blancs on the site. Certainly not worth £16.99 - I think £8.49 is a bit steep considering the Seifried Aotea Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2011 is £8.25.

The subtle peach / melon nose belies the mouth filling freshness that going to hit to on the first taste.
Maybe I was a little unprepared but I was surprised by the first mouthful. A big smack of grapefruit tingling all over my mouth. I was a bit worried by this but by the second glass my palate had adjusted and I was appreciating the freshness and the flavour. Only the late hour stopped me finishing off the bottle.
So - subtle nose, bags of zinging grapefruit but a well balanced acidity keeping the whole thing very drinkable.
