This was another wine which divided Mrs AA and myself. I am happy with upfront tannins and she has a sweet tooth. The net result was that I really enjoyed this and she didn't. On the nose dark, almost bitter, fruit. In the mouth soft, round, generous and 'warm'. The after taste is rich and smooth. The punch of alcohol is not strident. I didn't find the tannins overpowering, Mrs AA did. I've reordered (just for me).

It is definitely my favorite!
I love its texture and intensity. Excellent to accompany a barbecue or pasta. If you are looking for intensity, the wine Facundo indicated.

Amazing aroma after a few minutes if you swirl this around the glass. Powerful and rich dark berries with almost a brown sugar note and complexity. One to savour slowly and enjoy.

I think I've said before how wonderful this wine is.
Had it with a small pork & pickle pie salad, then some vintage Cornish cheddar. Wow!
Amazing wine... incredibly smooth and brought our the best flavours in both the pork pie & the cheese.
Uncomplicated and gorgeous... great price for Angels now!!
