I love the depth of this wine. This is a powerful wine with no rough edges. It's fabulous, strong flavour is supported by a creamy, velvety (almost porty) texture which held up very well with blue cheese. I can't wait to open the Reserva!

My first taste of this red was of sweet fruit, possibly akin to blackberries in someway...but maybe I've read too many tasting notes elsewhere ! Anyway this big, alcoholic wine was very easy on the palate & complimented the Chilli we were eating with it...but it had body & subtlety about it. A good wine, where you might expect to drink more than one glass :-)
