Guido's Story

"I was born in the prosecco region of Italy, and wine has been a passion of mine since day one - passed to me from previous generations. Throughout my years at school, I worked in the vineyards whenever I could, and I wouldn't want to do any other career.

It is very important as a winemaker to respect and follow the nature. A winemaker can not change the way nature works. It is very important to start with the best basis in order to get a great wine, as without a good vineyard, nobody can have good wine.

The technology is today a big help, especially the cool “il freddo” at each step of the wine making, and a wine maker thru all these things tries, would like to give his mark, trace."

With this in mind, these are my key winemaking tips:

  • Work hard in the vineyard
  • Choose and select the grapes carfully
  • Preserve the product at each step
  • Make use of the best technology
  • And taste the product regularly!

Hi everybody and thank you for buying our wines and loving them!
I'm always glad to know if you like the wines you buy... but also if you don't!
I just wanted to inform you of the new legislative change concerning Prosecco, which has become all DOC and no more IGT so that Prosecco is the name of the whole area, just like Bordeaux or Soave.
This is a really important progress for our wine, since it's becoming more and more protected to assure our customers a wine of the first quality!
