This is the wine equivalent of University Challenge - only there's no Bamber Gascoigne, the questions are fairly easy, it's a lot of fun, and you don't need to have gone to university. So actually, not much like University Challenge at all.
The format is simple - six great Shiraz from around the world. We send you the case, then we email you game instructions and tasting sheets. You print them out. You invite a few friends around and everyone puts their car keys in the centre of the table. The winner gets to drive the nicest car home (what did you think we meant, you naughty Angels?).
So, in a nutshell, a lot of fun, a lot of frolics, and you learn all about Shiraz. A no brainer if ever there was one.
Benjamin has pretty much taken the Minervois and put it on the map with his winemaking and this little beauty is the perfect embodiment of why we reckon he's a real wizard with his wines.
90% of you agree with us, making this one of the most popular wines we've ever had, thanks to its rich, ripe, blackcurrant and mulberry fruit bomb of flavour that explodes on your tongue.
We went all Victor Kiam over it. Well, we didn't actually buy the company, but we bought every last bottle, so we could give you a great wine at an even better price.
Two of Chile's finest winemakers, Constanza and Felipe, have teamed up with incredible results. These award winning Chilean superstars make this wine exclusively for us and overdelivered every step of the way!
Like Posh and Becks, Syrah and Malbec are an odd but close to perfect combination. The plummy spiciness of the former is offset by the delicious chocolate and mulberry flavours of the latter, making one big, bold badass wine!
You don't mess around with this. It's prime rib of beef territory. No arguments.
You went nuts for the 2008 / 2009 vintages and it's no surprise you've done the same for the 2010, with 93% of you saying you will happily buy it again!
Shiraz and Viognier are a little bit like the odd couple of the wine world. They shouldn't work together, but they do spectacularly.
Packed full of delicious dark berry, pepper and spice aromas, this is BIG quality for a very reasonable price - thanks to Angel funding
This is made by a lovely guy called Rex, whose family have been handling grapes for over three generations in Orange, New South Wales. You won't find many bottles with as much experience, understanding, love and attention crammed in them than this.
It's genuinely a wonder how he's managed to cram so much spicy, peppery, juicy plum flavours into the one bottle.
It loves, Pizza, craves a leg of lamb, but is fundamentally screaming out for a big juicy steak.
Jock Harvey is our little miracle worker. The Angel Gabriel if you like. And this, his Reserve Shiraz is indeed a little bit of joy fallen from heaven.
Sumptuous, deliciously ripe and laden with plums, damsons and a good dollop of creamy oak, this has that black pepper edge that makes Shiraz such a wonderfully well-loved slice of Australia.
It's another one of our exclusives, so you're getting top level Shiraz at a price that would normally make a grown man weep with joy.
