Whilst eating some home made rice pudding tonight we got round to wondering about which wine might complement it ?, any suggestions would be warmly received. Thanks

Moet is very good with scrambled eggs on toast!

Has anyone got any great combos with fast/junk food. A friend and I spent some considerable time (much to the disgust of our respective wives and children over the weekend) doing a burger wine pairing challenge. Bizarrely one of the most delightful matches was the burger from Bill's in Brighton with an oaky chardonnay from Down Under (though I now have to head off on a bike ride to try and work five different burgers off). We've done fish and chips before though, and the best combo with that was a bottle of Krug I'd won in a raffle - sadly not a combo I can afford to repeat all that often...any one else walked on the naughty side of the food border and come up with some good combos?

This is the best steak recipe I've found though I substituted mulled wine for water.

Can anyone recommend a wine to go with pork & apple sausages served with mustard mash and caramelised red onion gravy? It's a favourite with my daughter and I cook it reasonably regularly. The wines I have to go with it are from the angels favourites mixed case.
